Google Suggest is a nifty feature that can help people searching on unknown topics know what exactly they should search for. It comes in handy in situations where we are not aware of what exactly to write in that search box.
However, Google suggest has often been made fun of and ridiculed because of some of the inconsistent results. The results it shows are an outcome of people searching for those exact phrases or talking about them over and over again and Google considering those phrases as important ones.
When I set out to write this list of ten of the best Google suggest results, I was not even sure what I would write about. So, here is a list of Google’s suggestions on the top tech companies that have the highest expectations, according to
Business Insider.
The results that came back were really interesting and funny.
Apple

The first result is pretty telling, as Apple has a big cult following. Note the result “Apple is a joke”. Ask me why? I will tell you later.
AT&T

Once again, notice the negativity in the first search suggestion. Additionally, the joke result springs up once again.
Facebook

Facebook also brings up the result “joke” and a few other results related to addiction. Clearly, it is quite addictive, so the results suggest just that.
Google

Well, here is my question. Why is every other company a joke and Google is not? Was that removed from the suggestion list deliberately? Although, Google has a bigger worry in these suggestions. It is being called a CIA front!
HP

HP is back with the joke result and pretty generalized results. There is nothing interesting here, so we will just move on.
Intel

The joke result is so common now that the whole Google suggest feature starts looking like a biased joke. Intel has pretty decent results as compared to others, though.
Microsoft

Enter Microsoft, Google’s nemesis. It’s not surprising that all the results out there are so filled with negativity. Someone who knew nothing about Microsoft would absolutely hate it after seeing this.
Nokia

The recent downslide in Nokia is evident in these suggestions, and things are so seriously bad for Nokia, Google suggest does not “joke” about it. Not this time.
RIM

These results don’t show anything too surprising, but if you didn’t know RIM was a Canadian based company, you do now.
Twitter

Facebook and Twitter have quite a few suggestions in common there.
Yahoo

The downfall of Yahoo is clearly evident in these search suggestions.
Conclusion
All the lists are relevant but only to a certain extent. There are a few totally irrelevant searches that are suggested by Google suggest. Do you think Google Suggest works for you? Do you think Google suggest trusts itself? See for yourself in the image below.
