HP launches the first WiFi mouse

Computing on the go comes down to convenience as much as it does to performance. You won’t be fond of lots of wires and devices to have to remember, weight can also be very much of an issue, and importance of connectivity is also much more increasing.
Wireless devices are of lot of help as it removes the tension of tangling of wire. But you still would not forget the receivers that allow those wireless devices to work. Even the nano receivers you can plug in and forget about do go missing.
HP has come up with a solution to that issue when it comes to working with a mouse. It has managed to eliminate the need for a receiver while at the same time also allowing the mouse to remain wireless. The solution: Use WiFi signal to send the signal and take advantage of the wireless receiverin-built into your laptop.
This clear idea also manages to remove yet another piece of kit from your bag and also frees up a USB port at the same time. It has also been guaranteed by the company that the mouse won’t be interfering with other signals on the same WiFi connection which means that it can also be used along side an Internet connection.
Mouse is said to have the battery life of 9 months which is claimed to be double that of most Bluetooth mice. There are 5 customizable buttons to configure, a four-way tilt scroll wheel, and it has the capacity to work up to 30 feet away from your laptop, this allos the easy navigation for presentations from a distance. The price isn’t bad either at just $49.99.
If you are really interested in having one of those, HP will make them available to vendors at some point in June.
HP also made another announcement regarding the introduction of Link-5 technology. HP’s Link-5 is capable of allowing up to five wireless devices to use a single USB dongle connection as if Logitechhas the Unifying Receiver. Three keyboards (Mini, Ultrathin, and Elite v2) and three mice (Optical Comfort, Laser Comfort, and Mobile Mouse) are included as supported perripherals. All will be available in June with the price tag ranging from $24.99 to $59.99
